Maybe, but THIS is good.
EDIT: Thanks, kinja... I was refering to the Vernors.

$1.75 for a can of tea/lemonade that nationwide is only a $1!? That’s messed up

I believe this falls under the “captive audience” statute. Looking at the reflection it looks like a vending machine at a rest stop. What other choice do you have but to suck it up and deal?
I agree that it sucks, but that's the price you pay for convenience.

As an Ohioan.. I can verify that at 90% of places that sell this product.. It’s a dollar.

Was good. They’ve definitely watered down the recipe. I can remember when Vernors would clear out your sinuses.

Still is good. Bonus: Goes VERY well with Fireball.
This is better, though. Proper sinus clearer.

no, vernors is disgusting. I grew up on the east coast and I now live in michigan, the first time I asked my (now wife, then girlfriend) for some ginger ale to make me feel better she got me vernors, I figured it was a different brand.
Then I took a sip and almost puked. It’s like someone mixed ginger ale and cream soda.
DISGUSTING

You shut your mouth and mix it with whiskey like a real man, damnit!

If my 1st year of law school serves me, I believe under advertising and consumer relations laws, you’re allowed to put a brick through the glass, take a can, and leave a dollar.

It was so god damn gross I wouldn’t want to ruin the delicious whiskey.

To feel better, as in fight nausea? Yeah, steer clear and go for Canada Dry. Vernors is too sweet for that. Still like it though.
Weird fact: I was never a big fan of Canada Dry. Was always a little too watery for my liking, I rarely drank it unless I was sick. I got onto Vernors, and now I like Canada Dry too.
Shweppes I'm still not a fan of. It straddles the fence too hard.

Yeah Canada Dry is the way to go while sick (yes nausea)
I was also blind sided because I was expecting something Canada Dry-ish.
It’s what her family always used while sick, where as mine growing up went for the Canada Dry.

Vernors!!? It’s been so long since I had a Vernors. I bid $5 and will pay double shipping.

Jungle Jims had this the other week for something insane. I think it was 59 cents.

News flash: Vending machines mark everything up by 50%-100%?
Funfact: I had never heard of “an Arnold Palmer” until about 6 months ago. When I saw the drink, I assume it was a homeopathic prostate medicine or something.

I will look for that, I miss full-strength Vernors.

Buffalo Rock ginger ale is best ginger ale. It has the burn of some whiskeys.

Never heard of it. I don’t think it’s sold in Canada.
I'm partial to Graces Ginger Beer myself—is it anything like that?

But you have Vernors in vending machines, that’s awesome!
Though paying $1.75 for an Arnold Palmer is highway robbery.

Never had it.

If you're like me, in that you can't really get enough ginger, you should.
